So we are here at the end of the KOLKATA DIARIES 2022 series. After so much of pandal hopping and enjoying the hustling and bustling of the city in the midst of the crowd, Last day of trip needed something slow paced, peaceful and calming. So, we started our day with the #iconic INDIAN COFFEE HOUSE which was a prominent and quite popular spot back in the days. Many famous personalities like Satyajit Ray, Amartya Sen, Mrinal Sen, Aparna Sen and many more were regular visitors for this place.
After a brief visit to the past, we headed to the another popular place which is famous for it's sunset view. PRINSEP GHAT, a place named after an Anglo-Indian scholar JAMES PRINSEP. This ghat is situated along the bank of river HOOGLY. We even witnessed the second Hoogly Bridge, "THE VIDYASAGAR SETU"
WITH THE SIGHT OF BEAUTIFUL MOON AND THE PEACEFUL RIDE OF GONDALA IN CALM WATERS HOOGLY RIVER WE MARKED OUR END.
