Dragon Watching
Loudoun County is home to at least 54 species of dragonflies and 29 species of damselflies. Nature enthusiast Lindsay Loyd provides an overview of the life cycle and anatomy of these insects, along with photographs and fun facts about several species. Their presence is a good indicator of a garden’s success and the health of our waterways.
