ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Nancy Berlin is the owner of Gentle Landscaping, and she specializes in helping her clients create sustainable, native plant habitats. She is the co-designer of the INOVA UVA healing garden as well as 60+ school and community gardens in Prince William County, Manassas City and Manassas Park. Berlin has a Virginia Tech graduate degree in Natural Resources and is a Certified Horticulturalist with the Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association. For 17 years she worked as a natural resource specialist for the Virginia Cooperative Extension in Prince William County. There, she trained Master Gardener volunteers in plant diagnostics, selection and culture, water quality and environmental stewardship.
