Around June this year, I've started noticing that the exhaust fan on our bathroom seem to spin slower than usual and spin normally again, then the light inside the bathroom would also flicker momentarily.
I thought I was just imagining stuff, because my housemates (other family members) haven't noticed the irregularities. Also thought that it can't be the wiring, because we just had our house re-wired after replacing our main panel CBs last year.
Then, July came and the flickering/voltage drops became worse and now, it's affecting my PC as well. I'm not sure how much damage it would've caused my PSU if I did not have a UPS to handle the unstable voltage.
I checked on the meter base and noticed that the wattage reading was weird, and I also heard some sort of sparks, like it was arcing, so, we called an electrician immediately to take a look and had him replace what needs to be replaced.
It's a good thing that a lot of electrician contractors hang out near our place, because if we called the electricity provider, it would've taken a week before they do anything. lol.
