Checking Out Linux Mint 21.1 "Vera" | Not a Linux Guru Guy
In this episode, I check out the recently released version of Linux Mint--21.1, code named Vera. They've added several new features which make this release a real upgrade. I check out the new features for the most part, including some features folks may not be aware of, but that make this distro stand out from the pack. Things like automatic updates that actually work--what a concept! (an old feature some are probably not aware of) And its ability to install Nala through a backport, which I really appreciate. Plus a group of new features which help to bring Linux Mint into the future.
Whoops! I forgot to show off the "eye candy" of Vera, the new set of wallpapers. But you can check out the all new wallpapers of Vera by right-clicking on the open desktop and selecting "Desktop Settings" from the pop-up context menu. Take a look at them once you are able to install Linux Mint and/or boot into the live ISO.
