NEW ROCK NOW: The Cure, Dream Theater, The Offspring, Danzig, The Linda Lindas, and tons more!

This week's new releases feature an eclectic mix of singles, full-length albums, deluxe editions, and reissues, catering to various rock and alternative tastes. Starting with The Cure’s “A Fragile Thing,” the track delivers a nostalgic nod to Disintegration and will be part of the highly anticipated Songs of a Lost World*, set for release on November 1. Dream Theater’s "Night Terror" marks their first new track since Mike Portnoy's return to the band, showcasing complex time signatures and tempo changes, leading up to their new album *Parasomia*, arriving on February 7. Duran Duran revisits last year’s Halloween-themed album *Danse Macabre with a deluxe reissue featuring three bonus tracks, available October 25.

Sponge delivers a fresh take on Mazzy Star’s "Fade Into You," releasing the full covers album 1994 next week. Up-and-coming act Jarko & The Invisible Man introduces “Flashing Robot in the Transparent Colors,” an obscure yet engaging instrumental piece currently flying under the radar. Beth Hart’s “Wonderful World” is the first single from her 15th album *You Still Got Me*, arriving October 25. Kim Deal offers “A Good Time Pushed” from her solo effort *Nobody Loves You More*, out November 22, featuring Teenage Fanclub's Raymond McGinley on guitar. Meanwhile, Kim Gordon releases “Bangin’ on the Freeway,” a previously unavailable track from the deluxe edition of *The Collective*, due December 13.

The new full-length album highlights include The Offspring’s *Supercharged*, produced by Bob Rock, available on CD and vinyl, with multiple pressings. Myles Kennedy presents *The Art of Letting Go*, his third solo record, and House of Lords releases their 12th studio album *Full Tilt Overdrive*. The Linda Lindas continue to impress with *No Obligation*, their second album, blending punk, power pop, and new wave influences. Real Life revisits the ’80s with *Send Me an Angel*, an album of re-recorded originals and covers, including hits like "Sweet Dreams" and "Cars."

Reissues and deluxe editions this week include Rory Gallagher’s The BBC Collection*, a massive 18CD and 2Blu-ray set packed with previously unreleased material. Pavlov’s Dog returns with *Essential Records 1974-2018*, available as a 5LP or 5CD collection. Vinyl enthusiasts will appreciate Danzig’s *Black Hell*, reissued in multiple colored pressings, and Mötley Crüe’s *Greatest Hits*, a 2LP set from 1998. Girlschool’s *Screaming Blue Murder is back on pink vinyl, while Steely Dan’s Katy Lied gets a deluxe 2LP pressing on 200-gram vinyl. The Sisters of Mercy, The Ocean Blue, and tribute albums for The Cure and Mötley Crüe round out this week’s vinyl releases.

New live albums include Def Leppard’s *One Night Only: Live at The Leadmill Sheffield*, now available in several formats, and Sabaton’s *The Tour to End All Tours: Live in Amsterdam*, pressed on red, white, and blue vinyl. This diverse collection of releases offers something for every rock fan, whether you’re into progressive metal, synth-pop, or classic punk.
