This week features an exciting mix of new rock and alternative releases. Among the standout singles is Coheed and Cambria’s "Blind Side Sonny," an intense track about revenge, complete with a choreographed music video. The band is currently touring Australia alongside Periphery and Leprous. Sister Hazel released "Live Again" ahead of their upcoming full-length album, *Sand, Sea, and Crash Debris*, due on November 15. Stevie Nicks’ new one-off single "The Lighthouse" is a powerful piece inspired by the reversal of Roe v. Wade. The Horrors introduced "The Silence that Remains," a track from their upcoming album, *Night Life*, set for a March 2025 release. Razorlight delivered a quirky new track, "Taylor Swift = US Soft Propaganda," ahead of their first album since 2008, *Planet Nowhere*. Mongolian folk rock band The HU covered Iron Maiden's classic "The Trooper," while Richie Kotzen released a video for "This is a Test" from his new album *Nomad*.

Eric Clapton’s new album, *Meanwhile*, features 14 tracks and is available digitally, with vinyl and CD versions coming in January. Foreigner released *Turning Back the Time*, a 2-CD compilation that includes a previously unreleased track from 1995, and Rick Wakeman shared *Yessonata*, featuring two epic works made from YES music fragments. Danish rock legends D-A-D released their 13th album, *Speed of Darkness*, while Texas Hippie Coalition leaned into southern rock on their 8th album, *Gunsmoke*.
New this week is a 6-track EP from Mötley Crüe, *Cancelled*, available in CD, red/black splatter vinyl, and a limited-edition zoetrope version. Upcoming releases include a 2025 Las Vegas residency for the band.
