Robust ANPR System, Automatic Number Plate Recognition for low quality images
This video is about a moving low cost camera with bad quality images and low resolution (640x480). In this video we show primarily the robustness and accuracy of licence plates detection, then we give the recognition results which we consider as promising, because the detected characters are very poor and degraded. The detected licence plate (below the car image) is enlarged for illustration purpose, in reality they are very small, and so the characters.
