Hungary & Serbia Adventure with the Jeep Camper, Part 1: From Papa to Tara
In October 2024, we explored Hungary and especially Serbia in our Jeep Wrangler JL, converted into an off-road camper with a rooftop tent.
In Part 1, we start in Hungary and treat ourselves to a few relaxing days at the thermal campsite in Papa. We explore the town and its surroundings on a beautiful hike before continuing on to Serbia. There, we first visit the stunning Art Nouveau city of Subotica, before camping in a beautiful quince grove. Next, we head to Serbia's most densely forested national park, Tara National Park. Here, we camp along the Drina River, drive a fantastic off-road track, and hike to the most beautiful viewpoint, Banjska Stena. Join us on our adventure!
