Gdevelop FREE VISUAL Game Engine: CONTRA Tutorial #04 - Shooting Bullets
Welcome to the fourth entry in our Gdevelop FREE VISUAL Game Engine, where we are building a Contra's like game.

In this video, we will learn on how to shoot bullets, at a certain fire rate, in the directions supported by Contra, and for which we have already implemented the animations in the previous episode. We will also create some effects when firing to spice up the visuals, and we will finally introduce some basic sound effect when shooting the bullets
We still have some glitches that will be correcting along the way, and still need to make the ones where the player lay down on the ground to avoid fire, and to shoot low grounded bullets.
If you want to learn how to make or design games, you have come to the right place. We are taking the full process to new levels. We are checking on the mechanics that we are implemented and then testing them in the game to make sure they are working correctly. So this is a really good course to learn on how to develop games.
We will upload all the new assets to to the ITCHIO and we are thinking in opening a Github for the project, let us know which you like the most in the comments below.
