Skip to 04:04 to jump over the intro babble-and-brewski part. This is just a video highlighting 5 really cool features of the Dreadbox Nymphes that I really love.
Five Things I Love about the Dreadbox Nymphes
1. Easily Created Modulations (04:12)
2. Assignable Polyphonic Aftertouch (06:21)
3. LFO 1-Shot Mode (07:43)
4. LFO Delay and Fade (11:17)
5. Tri Mode Behavior (13:23)
Bottom line is I just really find the Nymphes a super playable synth. Using velocity, aftertouch, LFOs, and the mod wheel, you can program patches that let you control the dynamics and harmonic content of the synth in a very subtle and musical way.
Opening arrangement of the ProckGnosis theme is only the Dreadbox Nymphes (multi-tracked) and some Reason Drums playing a weird time signature groove of 7/8 - 7/8 - 4/8 (or 18/8 maybe??).
Effects used with the Nymphes were the Dreadbox Hypnosis chorus and the free Valhalla Supermassive reverb plugin (https://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/v...)
