Metascore: Metascore is a score out of 100 published by Metacritic, a review aggregation site operated by CBS Interactive, for games, movies, music, etc., with a score of 75 or above considered a good game.
User Score: Like the Metascore, it is displayed alongside the Metascore on the Metacritic website. Users of Metacritic can rate it. Personally, I consider anything above 8.0 to be a very high rating.
Steam Rating: If it's very well-received, I don't think it's a crappy game.
