I Will Not Forget You (Reflective & Romantic Piano)
Written on August 12, 2015, this is an original piano composition. Woke up this morning with lingering memories of love gone by and had to write it down before the melody became a vapor lost to the night. Painted both of these umbrella pictures, one with a couple walking together and the other with the lady walking away. At the end there is a quodlibet, which is a song that quotes a short bit of another melody. The quodlibet melody is from one of my favorite songs I've composed, but I've also used the same melody as a quodlibet in another of my songs. To the first person that can guess the song it comes from AND the other song that contains the same melody, I will give a free PDF copy of any of my piano books containing original songs. Hope you enjoy this quiet and reflective piece.
