The lust of the eyes involves tempting us with materialism and covetousness, making us desire worldly possessions. The pride of life tempts us with self-glorification and arrogance, prioritizing our own success over humility and dependence on God. Recognizing these strategies helps us rely on God’s strength to resist temptation.
