The Other Side of Havana
About a year ago, Betsy Beasley and I took a bucket list-trip to go diving off the southern coast of Cuba on a liveaboard with a group of friends. Being big fans of Cuban music, we went a few days early to take advantage of the trip to visit Havana, see the city and hear some live music. The food, music, history and so much more were great.
Unfortunately, when we finished and went to the boat, we found on the first day that we had caught Covid-19 in Havana, so no diving and we spent the time in our cabin.
We planned to make a collaborative movie with friends on the dive trip, but had nothing to contribute from underwater.
But, we had a lot of stuff from Havana and we thought it was so interesting, we decided to make a movie called "The Other Side of Havana" which you can see here.
Most of the music was recorded live in Havana.
