Diving can be blissful. But, it's not always easy, especially if you are doing photography and video. The best places can be difficult to get to with a mountain of diving and photographic gear. And once you get there, weather, currents, visibility and absence of marine life can can be frustrating and exhausting. A dive that can be paradise can turn difficult in the time it takes an afternoon thunderstorm pop up. So why do we do it?
That's the question this film tries to answer but the reasons are personal and different for each of us. See if you can spot the reason you choose this sport. I'm sure you will know mine after watching. This film was shot mostly at Alor and demonstrates the incredible beauty and diversity of marine life on display. Many thanks to everyone at Alami Alor who made this all possible with their excellent resort, dive operation and dive guides.
