When it comes to Smash and the many factors that have limited the potential of characters getting into the game, there has never been a factor that has more of an impact than that of time...you could be the greatest character the game could ever ask for, but if you come out at the wrong time, that's it...you're done. Pokemon as a whole has suffered from this problem the most, and one of the many examples of this notable issue in Smash's fighter criteria is Gen 7's mythical icon, Zeraora.
With blinding speed, sharp claws and the potential for underlying mechanics, Zeraora is a character that always looked like it was built to be a fighting game character, but since he came out too late for Ultimate, he was never given a chance to prove himself...until today! In honor of the passing of my best bud, Tucker, let's look into the potential of Zeraora as a character.
