The Alcove Prefex is a small, secretive island nation that was formed when outcasts of the Azure Order defected. Obsessed with technology, this population of mostly humans and robots live in a post-scarcity, authoritarian society. They specialize in mechanical technology instead of magic (although it is said that their world-famous "hackers" use a strange form of magic).
