HOVERAir X1 vs DJI Mini 2 Comparison
While we think the HOVERAir X1 and DJI Mini 2 fall into different product categories, they can perform some similar functions. We don't think 1 will completely replace the other based on what each can and cannot do. Here are some comparisons:
Big differences:
X1 can follow you automatically without user having to hold a controller
X1 can be launched quickly and while on the move
X1's range is limited to about 50 ft above and away from you
Mini 2 has a separate controller to connect to phone and takes longer to setup
Mini 2 has better image and video quality and can go much higher and further away from the user
Mini 2's battery lasts about 30 minutes, X1's about 10 minutes
Mini 2 has SD Card slot (more storage)
X1 has only onboard storage (limited storage)
Similarities:
Both can fly with manual controls where you can film at whatever angle you want
Both have preset modes like Orbit, Birds Eye, and Zoom-out at an angle
