1977 Dallas Cowboys Where Are They Now? After Super Bowl XII, America’s Team looked like it had everything: Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Doomsday Defense, and two defensive linemen sharing MVP.

But the years after the ring were not clean.

Staubach built one of the greatest business stories any NFL player ever had. Dorsett became a Hall of Famer and later spoke about memory loss and CTE symptoms. Harvey Martin fought addiction before dying at 51. Randy White kept showing up for the teammate who couldn’t.

This is the 1977 Dallas Cowboys after the confetti: the fame, the fallout, the Hall of Fame waits, the quiet exits, and the price some of them paid long after Super Bowl XII.

Featuring Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Harvey Martin, Randy White, Drew Pearson, Tom Landry, Cliff Harris, Charlie Waters, Rayfield Wright, Ed “Too Tall” Jones, and Mel Renfro.
