GS Premier: Setting up a Serial Devices
You can set up Serial Device settings for direct data entry from a device connected to the computer's serial port, or perhaps a device that is connected to the computer's USB port.
NOTE: Only Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge allow local serial port access.
