Traceability is vital for getting the most out of your SPC data collection and analysis. Traceability tags your data (measurements, defects, etc.) with values like Shift, Line, Machine, Operator, Work Order, and so forth.
Then users can filter your data by these Traceability values. Use analysis tools to identify potential sources of defects or production variation. You can set up as many Traceability fields as you want. GS has built-in fields to tag your data with Process, Part, Characteristic, and Date/Time — so you don't need to add new Traceabilities for these values.
AI values data with rich traceability information. The context the traceability provides gives AI systems more potential ways to analyze potential solutions to problems it might have posed to it.
