Day 363 propels us into the middle of the cosmic drama unfolding in Revelation 12 through 15. 🔹 Revelation 12: The Woman, the Dragon, and the War in Heaven
This chapter presents a great sign in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars, who gives birth to a male child destined to rule all nations. She is persecuted by a great red dragon, identified as Satan, who seeks to devour her child. After the child is caught up to God's throne, a war breaks out in heaven, resulting in the dragon being cast down to the earth. The woman is given refuge in the wilderness, protected from the dragon's wrath.
🔹 Revelation 13: The Beast from the Sea and the Beast from the Earth
Revelation 13 describes two beasts that rise to power through satanic authority, one from the sea and another from the earth. The first beast, with ten horns and seven heads, performs great blasphemies and wields immense power, causing all inhabitants of the earth to worship it. The second beast, exercising authority on behalf of the first, deceives the earth’s inhabitants with miraculous signs and enforces the worship of the first beast, marking followers with the number of the beast.
🔹 Revelation 14: The Lamb and the 144,000; The Three Angels
John sees the Lamb standing on Mount Zion with 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. This group sings a new song before the throne, a song only they could learn. Following this, three angels deliver critical messages: the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, a warning against worshipping the beast, and a pronouncement of Babylon's fall. The chapter concludes with a vision of the harvest of the earth, symbolizing the gathering of the righteous and the judgment of the wicked.
🔹 Revelation 15: Prelude to the Seven Last Plagues
This chapter introduces seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last because with them God’s wrath is completed. John sees a sea of glass mingled with fire and those who have conquered the beast standing beside it, singing the song of Moses and the Lamb. This scene sets the stage for the bowls of God's wrath to be poured out upon the earth.
