Day 362 brings us deeper into the apocalyptic events of Revelation, covering chapters 8 through 11. 🔹 Revelation 8: The Seventh Seal and the First Four Trumpets
The opening of the seventh seal introduces a silence in heaven for about half an hour, signifying the solemnity of what is to come. Following this, the angels with seven trumpets prepare themselves to sound. The first four trumpets bring about severe natural disasters: hail and fire mixed with blood, a burning mountain thrown into the sea, a great star falling from heaven, and a darkening of the celestial bodies. Each trumpet signifies God's escalating judgment on an unrepentant world.

The fifth trumpet unleashes a plague of demonic locusts that torment those without God’s seal. Their king, the angel of the abyss, leads them. Despite these horrors, the remainder of humanity still does not repent of their wickedness.

A mighty angel descends from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head. He holds a small scroll open in his hand. When John is about to write down what the seven thunders have said, he is told to seal up what they said and not write it down. The angel then commands John to eat the scroll, which tastes sweet as honey but turns bitter in his stomach, symbolizing the bitter-sweet nature of prophesying about these events.
🔹 Revelation 11: The Two Witnesses and the Seventh Trumpet
This chapter introduces two witnesses endowed with power to prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. They perform miracles and proclaim God's message amidst opposition until they are killed and later resurrected. Their resurrection terrifies those who see them. Finally, the seventh trumpet sounds, leading to loud voices in heaven proclaiming the reign of the Lord and His Messiah and celebrating the forthcoming judgment and reward for God’s servants.
