Hoka Hey 2022 Ride Days 2-5
Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, Days 2 through 5, sent us through Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. 1st Check Point at RawHide HD in Olathe KS, and the 2nd Check Point at Zion HD in Washington Utah. From starting line to 2nd check point Miles totaled 5,391.
Highlights:
1. Devils Highway (even thought it was raining) Crazy Huge Mine at the end, seemed like we were in another world.
2. Low 30's riding in Minn.
3. Awesome cliffs and sunsets near Grand Canyon ( almost got in a massive wreck on the highway)
4. Going down for a short sleep, huge Tarantula showed up and so we packed up and moved on down the road.
5. Sleeping in Texas about 20 feet from railroad tracks...shook the ground..several times
6.Amazing sunrises and sunsets!
