Hoka Hey 2022 Ride Days 6- 11
Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, Days 6 through 11, sent us through Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota. 3rd Check Point at High Desert HD in Boise Idaho, and the Finish line in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
Finished at 4:01 pm on July 6th. 10 days and 8 hours for a total to 10, 584 Miles. We finished 13th and 14th.
Highlights:
1. Oregon coast
2. Finding a kick ass place to sleep in a train depot museum
3. Kick ass place to sleep inside park shelter.
4. Driving through smoke with safety escort.
5. Spreading some ashes for a Hoka Hey family member
6. Sprinklers turning on at park shelter in middle of the night while sleeping...got wet.
7. Mountain riding in thick fog and rainy.
8. Cloud covered devils tower.
9. Getting stuck in gravel at 11pm, taking 40 minutes to get out, with assistance from twister and a passer by. But we found an awesome place to sleep.
10. Finishing in one piece with great company and awesome rider Twister!!!
