Assign Shortcut To A VBA Macro In Excel - The Excel Hub
We cover how to execute a macro using a shortcut, without requiring a button. This is more efficient than moving your mouse to select a button. In our example, we have a random password generator and a button which automatically assigns the random password to the platform that we select. We want to create a shortcut which automates this process, therefore, eliminating the need to click the button. To do this, we go into the developer tab and click macros. The macro which is assigned to the button is called add password so we select this and click options. We then assign a shortcut key to this macro.
