We cover how to convert a chart into an image in Excel and ensure it updates automatically as we update the chart it relates to. In our example, we have a company's revenues over time. We want to illustrate this in a bar chart; however, we want it to be formatted as a picture instead of a chart. This may be especially useful if you’re copy/pasting the chart into a word report and don’t want it to update every time you update the inputs.
