Introduction to Kingdom Plantae
The charophytes (protists) shared a common ancestor with land plants and in this video we learn some of the challenges that evolution on land presented and the adaptations that developed in response. One of those adaptations was the Alternation of Generations, which will be explored in more detail with examples from different plant phyla.
