Phylum Ascomycota
Phylum Ascomycota is one of the phyla in the Fungi Kingdom. It contains all of the 'weird' looking mushrooms. In my simplified version of the life cycle, we identify the ascocarp, ascus, ascospores, hyphae, and where meiosis happens.
