Mend My Soul in Lavender (Lyrics)
Time and time again
I’ve hated what is broken
As though shattered souls don’t
Deserve to feel the light
Unspoken little poems
Embers I can’t let die
Clothe this blight
In creature’s thread
With lilac tears
And newfound breath
Land of dreams
You’re far more
Than what we see
Oh hear my plea
Cinder wounds
Restore in turn
Please mend my soul
In lavender
No matter what magic
Potions you may swallow
Many nothings still remain
Sweet flowers though beautiful
Won’t make you immune to this
Life-defying plague
Clothe this blight
In creature’s thread
With lilac tears
And newfound breath
Land of dreams
You’re far more
Than what we see
Oh hear my plea
Cinder wounds
Restore in turn
Please mend my soul
In lavender
You can’t kill nightmares
With arrows and knives it’s a
Breathing delusion
This heart is worth more
Than the blood that it’s shedding
Peculiar illusion
Reflections
Into fruition
So vividly dreamed
Land of dreams
You’re far more
Than what we see
Oh hear my plea
Cinder wounds
Restore in turn
Please mend my soul
In lavender
