Vocal fry: Why do people hate this speaking trend?
What is Vocal Fry and why do so many people shout its name? This is quite a hot topic in the community of English learners in Vietnam around the end of 2024, but in fact it is something that has been used and known for a long time in English-speaking countries. This is truly a controversial topic, and controversial means there are people who support it and there are people who oppose it, right? But most of the videos or articles from Vietnam that I see when talking about this topic in English do not define it in detail, nor state the application and explain why it is annoying (or interesting) to some people, but only explain it briefly and give personal opinions to pull viewers to their side.
