Stage 20 takes in four difficult climbs, and is regarded as the Queen Stage of the 2016 Tour de France. The Etape du Tour 2016 will use this route. It starts from Megève and goes through Praz-sur-Arly and Flumet. Then it goes through the Gorges de l'Arondine, and begins to climb the Col des Aravis (Cat. 2). There's a descent to la Clusaz, and the next climb starts from le Grand Bornand - the Col de la Colombière (Cat. 1). The descent from this col goes through le Reposoir and on to Scionzier. A few km in the valley bring the riders to Mieussy, where the Col de la Ramaz begins. The descent is to Taninges, and there's a flat valley road to Samoëns, where the final climb, of the Col de Joux Plane, begins. After the summit, Stage 20 passes the Col du Ran Folly, then there's 8km downhill to the finish in Morzine.
