Why Shia LaBeouf Is Being Sued By His Ex Partner
Shia is no stranger when it comes to legal troubles here and there, and with the latest news concerning the actor's life, it seems like he is being sued by his ex-partner, singer and actress Tahliah Barnett, also known as FKA Twigs, for “sexual battery and assault”.
LaBeouf and Barnett met during the filming of 2019’s ‘Honey Boy’, which LaBeouf co-wrote, with both starting a relationship of an undetermined period. And now Barnett is seeking legal action against him.
According to ‘Deadline’ she filed a complaint to the Los Angeles Superior Court Friday December 11th of 2020, which contained a “detailed and often harrowing” account of her treatment by her now ex-partner.
