xQc roasted aim assist and controller players after losing a game in an Apex Legend Invitational to controller player TSM Daltoosh.
The aim assist in esports debate is back, and this time it’s xQc ripping the controller players after going up against them in Apex Legends, calling the aim assist “kinda lame” and saying controller players basically only play half the game. Saying aim assist reacts faster than a human can, and it starts tracking with superhuman speed, xQc said controller players are just letting the PC do half their job.
This led to a heated back and forth between xQc’s Twitch chat, with controller players saying aim assist was grossly overblown, and that keyboard and mouse players still had the advantage over controller. And while a few predator players like Nickmercs are on controller, and even a few pros in Apex Legends, the vast majority of top tier Apex is played on Keyboard and Mouse.
So is xQc right, and aim assist is just letting a computer do half the work and should be removed from competitive games and esports, or is this just more overblown hype, and aim assist is the only way controller players like Nickmercs or Daltoosh can even come close to competing? Let us know what you think in the comments.
