Welcome, survivors! Today, I'll share a quick update on my Ark Arthropleura breeding journey, which has now reached its 74th day.

▶️ Do you Know: “Ark employs a unique taming mechanic for its dinosaurs. Utilizing a system called torpor. Players must calculate and manage a creature's torpor level to effectively tame it. By using various weapons players can increase a creature's torpor to the point of unconsciousness. After which they must feed the creature specific foods to gain its trust and make it their companion.” ◀️
Arthropleura are majestic creatures, but they're also not easy to tame. But for those who succeed, the rewards are great. Arthropleura are formidable base defenses and raiding creatures, thanks to their acidic blood that can splash back on attackers and weaken their weapons.
They're also particularly useful for exploring caves, as their acid can dissolve the walls and ceilings, making them easier to navigate.
▶️ Breeding Arthropleura is a challenging but rewarding task. I've learned a lot over the past 71 days, and I'm excited to share my insights with you. Here are a few things I've learned:
• Arthropleura have a long gestation period. It takes about 24 hours for an Arthropleura egg to hatch.
• Arthropleura babies are very hungry. You'll need to have a lot of food on hand to raise them to adulthood.
• Arthropleura babies are also very vulnerable. Make sure to keep them safe from predators and the elements.
• Despite the challenges, breeding Arthropleura is incredibly rewarding. I've been able to breed some truly impressive creatures, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
