This is What 68 Days of Arthropleura Breeding Looks Like

Arthropluera Felsanguis, a giant insect from the early Permian, has these features and the aggressive nature of a carrion feeder. Everyone says that just seeing this bug is enough to induce nightmares, but when it bites, or its acidic blood is exposed, the terror multiplies exponentially.
Arthropluera hides in dark caves or lava fields, waiting for its victim to stumble into sight. When it spots a human or any other tame, it immediately tries to spit its corrosive bile and crawl toward it to destroy it.
Although most survivors would have a hard time taming such a beast, those who do put it to use for base defense and raids. Because of the corrosive nature of its blood, attacks on an Arthropluera will damage weapons and hurt any who go too close to the beast.
The Arthropluera may be reared as a pet if the owner knows how to approach and create a relationship with the creature, which is more said than done with most animals.
Tribes employ these creatures as war horses, riding them into battle to attack and protect against their enemies.
