After phase 2, Chara(1980) and sanses were exhausted. Chara(1980) only could attack one of sanses. Others would teleport to seek assistance(To the simulated AUs).Sans who has been attacked have no strength to teleport，staying here to procrastinate.
Because of Gaster, attacking COTV was useless. COTV would extract Chara’s determination to revive HM. For COTV, HM devoted his life to block one hit.
