After working on this project, I am sure that it would have worked with DBP CC in satin. You never know. So try new products and implementations and you will find what works best for YOU. Not your neighbor, not your best friend, but YOU. There are so many ways to create items. None are wrong. You will just find what works best for you. And for me, Dixie Belle Paint products are the best I have found and worked with in 20 years. I now also sell them in our store The Other Side Vintage in Tallahassee, Florida and we ship them too.
Try new things! Try new things to reconfirm that what you love is the best. Or maybe it isn't. What I found is that Dixie Belle Paint Clear Coat in Satin still works better than my old-go-to Mod Podge. And I sure don't miss those smells. I forget how much some paint projects smell and put off odors while using them. I am able to work inside the house with no problems or worries about those smells now.
