I bought this hammer to a blacksmith few years ago, and since, I wanted to restore it. So that's what I did this week.

For the handle, I used oak and walnut. I know it's not the best woods for a handle, but I wanted to make a laminated handle and give it some contrast.

There is a lot of different ways to put a handle in a hammer head or axe head, I tried something a little bit different this time, but I'm pretty happy with the result. This handle is not gonna get loose anytime soon :)
