In my last video, I gave knife making a try. And I really liked it. So I decided to make myself a 2x72" belt grinder. I salvaged a lot of materials for this build : steel was laying around, I used roller skates wheels and upcycled an old planer motor. It is a 2 HP, 380 V, 2800 rpm motor. So, all I bought was the big contact wheel.
My dad gave me a hand for this build, and I'm thankful for that. He helped me to align the wheels properly and make it running perfectly. That was actually the tricky part of this build.
So, thanks Dad !
I hope you enjoy the video.
