How to fix a wavy zipper

Have you ever put your favorite hoodie in the wash, only to find that the zipper is now wavy? It's a common problem, but one that is easily fixed. Let me show you how to fix a wavy zipper using a steam iron. There's no need to toss out your favorite hoodie just because the zipper is wavy
The first step is to identify why the zipper became wavy in the first place. In most cases, it's because the fabric around the zipper has shrunk. This can happen when you wash knit fabric on a hot setting. To fix the problem, you'll need to make the fabric around the zipper bigger again. This can be easily done with a steam iron.
Start by pressing the zipper and the fabric around it with the steam iron. Then, pull on the fabric on the front of the hoodie so that it's the same length as the zipper. As you're pulling on the fabric, press it with the steam iron. You may need to do this a few times before the fabric stretches enough to lay flat again. Once you're finished, your zipper should be as good as new!
