Hi Family, I always appreciated the lyrics of today’s tune, but wondered how an upbeat perspective would make it feel... so I flipped it! 🤠
My rendition of “Nothing Compares 2 U” is different from the smooth version Prince delivered, and the iconic ballad Sinead O’Connor made popular many years ago. I sped the tune up and instead of a tear-jerker, wanted to make it a stronger song - this is what I call the Bonn E Maiy / Backwoods Sassafras sound!
