A bright future for Wilder Blean | Rewilding Network
Rewilding Britain couldn’t be more pleased to award £100k to the Wilder Blean Initiative, through our new Rewilding Challenge Fund. Network Manager, Sara King, explains why the project was chosen for its collaborative and ambitious plans to upscale rewilding in Kent, springboarding from the very first UK bison woodland management trial last year.
❓What is the Rewilding Challenge Fund?❓
The Challenge Fund was set up to nurture and enable one large-scale rewilding project annually. The funding will also help ensure the invaluable knowledge and experience gained is shared with rewilders through the Rewilding Network, helping nature recover at the scale and speed that’s needed.
