I've recently been enjoying a lot of happy hardcore music from the early 2000s. Some of the best songs from that time period are wonderfully exciting with beautiful vocals about love (think "Breeze & Barley - Falling" or Gammer's remix of "Eclipse - Things You Do"). I really love that style, so I decided that I would try to work on something that continues that energy into the modern day. Well, luckily I've recently been watching an awesome show about musicians and the club music scene called Paripi Koumei (aka Ya Boy Kongming) that has some great content worthy of a good remix; you may have heard or seen remixes of the show's banger OP "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". However, one of the songs that appears throughout the show, called "I'm Still Alive Today", is just the right style and bpm for the kind of a remix I've been wanting to make, so I knew I needed to do it! While this song was a mixing and mastering nightmare with all the tracks and vocals going at once, I think it turned out really nicely. I hope everyone enjoys! Btw, If you haven't seen Kongming and are a big fan of anime, I highly recommend watching!
