This song has been in the making for almost 2 months now, undergoing revisions and edits numerous times in an effort to capture the feelings of the cold spring. I've always been a fan of cold weather, and I find spring time to be the most beautiful intersection of cold weather with beautiful blossoming flowers and open blue skies. I knew the song title needed to include the word "wind" due to my recent appreciation of the cool northernly winds sweeping across the country, but the name "blossoms of the wind" finally came to me early one morning as I stood in the park watching the flowers flutter in gusts of wind.
