Hello everyone! I had a great time producing this song with DJ Spyroof, and he's always one of my favorite artists to collaborate with because we agree on so many things musically. Eternal Life is featured on the Hands Up Legacy 2024 album, which is also the 10th anniversary of the annual Hands Up Legacy project, a yearly album which seeks to unite the best producers in the genre. We wanted to make something that would be special given the milestone, and I think we have; this song embodies everything I love about the hands up genre: fast rhythmic melodies, beautifully thick harmonious pads, impactful drums, and a powerful but happy tone. In my opinion, it's this juxtaposition of beauty and power inherent in the genre that opens the door for a wide variety of interpretations. To some people this is the kind of music you can party and dance to all night while to others it's the kind of music you can sit down and listen to on a nice sunny day. This flexibility in interpretation gives everyone a different relationship to the music and provides us each with a unique perspective. This is how art works after all. However, regardless of your interpretation, those of us who love this genre so much all find ourselves arriving at the same place: this is music that brings happiness and energy to us all!
