Arturia Microfreak : perfect for ambient music
I just bought Arturias microfreak and I can’t praise it enough.
Microfreak is an experimental hybrid synth that blends wavetable + digital oscillators with analog filters. It has 7 of the sound engines from plaits which I use in most of my modular patches. It’s loaded with all sorts of fun features - arps, sequencer and presets
You can shape endless synth sounds all within one engine. The 1/4 inch output makes it easy to process it with pedals.
Here is my first session with it - I’m pairing it with the chase bliss mood and it was perfect.
I’m super excited to get to know it more, I’m just scratching the surface
