The Behavioral Modeling Process can be summarized in four high-level steps:
• Creating the design model.
• Analyzing the design model.
• Conducting sensitivity analyses on the model.
• Conducting design studies on the model.
In this first stage, a model or assembly is created including mass properties or material for each part. Then, wide variety of analyses can be performed on a model and results can be incorporated into the model. Sensitivity analysis enable you to analyze how model parameters change as a model dimension is varied within a specified range. Design studies are of two types, feasibility that enable user to search for a model by modifying dimension(s) within a specified range of values that satisfy your design constraint(s) and Optimization, similar to feasibility studies but also include goal, such as minimizing mass.
