Security Camera System Master Arm / Disarm Switch from Mobile App
Viewtron security camera systems have a master arm / disarm function that can be accessed remotely from the mobile app for iPhone and Android. You can also arm and disarm your security system by clicking on a button on the DVR / NVR and by also installing a physical button that connects to the alarm input of the NVR.
You can also use the Viewtron developer API / SDK to integrate this function with third party systems.
Please note that the master arm switch demonstrated in this video is applicable to Viewtron IP camera NVRs.

This feature is not available in our hybrid BNC security camera DVRs.
The system arm / disarm function is highly configurable. You can enable the disarm function for the entire system, including all security cameras and alarm devices. You can also pick and choose the specific security cameras that you want the disarming applied to.
You can also choose specific functions for each camera that you want disabled. For example, you may want to disable all of the physical alarm relay outputs on the NVR, but not the video recording of the cameras. Or you may want the alarm lights and sirens disabled on certain cameras, but not others.
